"ALL THIS & MORE" I TARA LOUIS

OPENING NIGHT I SATURDAY the 8th of July, 6pm till 8pm

SHOWING DATES I Thursday the 6th of July till Wednesday the 19th of July, 2023

Tara Louis is the artist behind designed by t. Her solo exhibition, ‘All This & More’, is a captivating body of work that invites you to immerse yourself in the serene beauty of quiet places and soft moments through a collection of contemporary abstract artworks.

Inspired by the tranquillity found in nature, this exhibition celebrates the delicate balance between stillness and movement, and its profound impact on our lives.

The carefully selected colour palette, inspired by the organic hues found in the natural world, breathes life into each artwork. Vibrant greens resemble nature and symbolise harmony and peace. Delicate and bold pinks encapsulate the ethereal hues of a sunset. Whilst browns and creams resemble the earthy tones associated with resilience and strength.

‘All This & More’ serves as an oasis of calm in our fast-paced world, encouraging viewers to pause, reflect, and find solace within mundane, yet delicate, moments. The exhibition invites you to go with the slow, appreciate the subtleties that often go unnoticed, and reawaken your senses to the beauty surrounding us.

Tara is a self-taught female artist who is known for her contemporary abstract paintings that explore the relationship between colour, form, and both her inner and outer world. Her work is heavily influenced by her personal experiences and observations, and she uses her art as a means of exploring and expressing the complexities of the human experience.

Her artistic style can be characterized by her abstract and experimental approach, use of colour, and interest in the natural world. A nature-inspired colour palette, alongside bold brushstrokes and unexpected textures, creates a visual language that invites the viewer to engage with their own interpretation and create their own narratives, while also encouraging a deeper connection with the world around them.
