Curated by Xavier Lane
OPENING NIGHT I SATURDAY 18th OF JULY 5PM-7PM
VIEWING DATES I 18th OF JULY UNTIL THE 29th OF JULY 2026
LEDA is proud to present RUPTURE, a group exhibition curated by Xavier Lane, featuring works by Lexie Worboys, Raffi Butler, and Xavier Lane.
This exhibition brings together three artists whose practices explore materiality, memory and transformation through distinctly personal visual languages.
Each artist will be presenting a unique perspective and body of work.
Xavier Lane's 'Romance in Real Life'; a musing on desire, power and heartbreak. A response to her inner world that questions and embraces the merciless nature of western society, materialism, possession and the patriarchy.
Raffi Butler's 'Angels and Monsters'; a reflection on our past subcultures of identity and our habit of clinging onto nostalgia, to revisit the feelings we never got over, and the places that no longer exist.
Lexie Worboys' 'Yours Faithfully' is an invitation to reminisce on your own memories, the devotion and support structures of family, relationships, and who we place our trust and faith in, who we can rely on.
