MEET ME AT THE STATION

At first, I didn’t really know where to start, and then I thought about myself and my personal connectedness to Newcastle; this painting is a direct response to my surroundings living in a historic town. I live right near Hamilton train station in a blue house, next to a park with leafy greens and barky tans, and my neighbourhood is saturated with nightlife, vintage stores and busy cafe culture, which I immerse myself in a few days a week.
