“Bound to Earth” is a reflection on my own journey and my family’s history of migration, of movement across arid terrains and uncertain ground. My ancestors fled wars or were displaced, carrying with them resilience and survival. Through earthy tones, layered textures, and natural materials, I revisit those roots and their connection to the land. The process becomes a way to reflect on belonging and transformation, grounding memory and identity within the materiality of earth itself.
