“From my soul to yours” is an exploration of intuition and painting. I paint and paint and paint, fast and slow, sometimes with my eyes close, with intention. I have to decide where and when to stop based on how the painting feels. In this way the painting becomes alive. It tells me what to do quite literally. There is always a reference to nature in my work. More and more this becomes an act of devotion. This painting reflects my (and many other painters) process and all its mystery and subtleties.
