Bill Davies is a signwriter and artist based in Darwin. This year, the Northern Centre for Contemporary Art showcased over three decades of Bill’s work in a retrospective entitled ‘The Darwin Years’. Bill is a kind and unpretentious bloke, which is probably why I like him so much. He is also great to talk art with. Additionally, he reminds me a bit of my grandfather. Who was also an artist and signwriter. We are lucky to have him as a friend.
