Statement |  Michel was a French artist who had studios in Greece, Italy and Australia. This work was exhibited in his first solo show in Italy "FUSION" (2002) at Santo Ficara Gallery, Florence (cat.no.51). It is being shown here at LEDA for the first time in this country. It is a spontaneous lyrical abstraction work painted whilst listening to the title piece of music. Pure ultramarine Zecchi pigment made from powdered lapis lazuli, is used for the blue line.
