“Ganymede” is an experimental abstract painting of Ganymede in Greek mythology. The subject itself I've always found to be interesting and taking those ideas and turning them into my own modern artworks keeps my flame burning. In this work I capture the beauty and innocence of Ganymede with the soft marks of gouache. I took a lot of inspiration from “The Rape of Ganymede” By Peter Paul Rubens.
