“Contained” addresses the theme of connection within the history of our lived in spaces. What we keep, collect, cherish and abandon. Giving the viewer an insight into the artists personal history and life, materials are connected together using traditional techniques such as knotting, looping and wrapping to create dense mass. Legs have been added to reflect the ability to morph and move ourselves while carrying memories, legacy connection and our container of self.
