RED FUSION II

Description: The title refers to the merging of the senses in sound and colour that have marked the artist’s life. Painted using an innovative oil-based medium with powdered pigments and thickened with granulated marble from the Pentelic quarry in Greece (where the famous sculptor of Classical times, Praxiteles, would have also found his blocks of pure white marble), the layers of continuous unbroken sound lines in warm colours are highlighted by a single line of ultramarine blue.
