Statement |  Michel was a French artist who had studios in Greece, Italy and Australia. This work was exhibited in his first solo show in Italy "FUSION" (2002) at Santo Ficara Gallery, Florence ( It is being shown here at LEDA for the first time in this country. It is a spontaneous lyrical abstraction work painted whilst listening to the title piece of music. Pure ultramarine Zecchi pigment made from powdered lapis lazuli, is used for the blue line.
