OPENING NIGHT I SATURDAY 21ST OF FEBRUARY, 5PM TILL 7PM
VIEWING DATES I 21ST IF FEBRUARY TILL THE 4TH OF MARCH 2026
‘In this joint exhibition, Australian-based visual artists Clare Dubina, Britt Ferns, and Holly Terry’s works weave between figure, symbol, and abstraction, serving as conduits for the emotional, energetic, and intuitive experience. Together, their work is an invitation to reflect via colour, form, and recurring motifs that speak to interior states, memory, and identity. Across a trio of approaches, Kaleidoscope becomes a space where meaning remains fluid and places emphasis on personal resonance and individual inner landscape.
Clare Dubina approaches the female form as a point of internal reflection, using layered acrylics, flecks of ink and oil pastel, fostering feelings of warmth and tactility. Colour functions as an atmospheric and emotional force rather than a descriptive one, shaping how the body is perceived and felt. Her work considers how sameness can hold difference; figuratively remaining steady as colour shifts around them.
Characteristically earthy in palette, Brittany Ferns’ work serves as a grounding representation of Light, guidance, Inner navigation, as well as a connection to her Uruguayan heritage. Draws on recurring motifs such as the sun and the human figure, Britt is interested in duality; the way familiar symbols can hold emotional, cultural and personal layers all at once.
