Her paintings have a deep connection to heritage, country, culture and spirituality. And whose work is now being exhibited internationally. Sandy's paintings are embodied with the same healing energy that flows from her hands during Reiki sessions. Her viewers frequently report feeling spiritually connected and energized by her work. Moving from using her hands for Reiki healing to using them to distribute paint on a canvas was a natural progression. Ever since the start she has mostly always painted with her hands and using layers and texture, never knowing what would emerge. Sandy made huge progress from discovering new ways to move and also manipulate paint while using different tools and heat.
With her spirals, always adding her Reiki practice to the paintings and they have been referred to as energetic healing portals. In challenging emotional times Sandy paints her spirals on how she feels deep within. From growing up on the lake, she has always been a lover of nature's beauty. "I think of my art as an artistic creation of a spiritual perspective, to reflect the heavenly beauty of nature, and whenever I see the ocean or look at space during meditation it helps me to create how I see life."
This is where the name Celestial has great significance in her artwork, capturing the heavenly and ethereal experience of the Universe. Sandy Lee's art shows the true energy of nature where we need to stop and reflect at its tranquility.
