Welcome to "Jeepers Creepers"! Ceramic artwork by Tahlia Undarlegt and Mahalia Leckner.

Tahlia Undarlegt's artworks are adorned with facial and figurative expressions, offering a humorous take on human emotion. Mahalia Leckner's ceramic forms playfully incorporate bugs, intertwining nature's whimsy with tradition. Explore their unique perspectives and shared weirdness on display, where comedy and nature converge in delightful ceramic creations.

Tahlia Undarlegt is a ceramic artist and diploma of ceramics student at the Newcastle art school. Working with traditional ceramic forms through a contemporary mindset, Abstraction of common forms, textured surfaces, hand painting and experimental glaze techniques. Drawing inspiration from deep rooted culture, folklore and an inherent weirdness, this allows for a fresh take on contemporary ceramic art with a grounded backbone of technical craftsmanship.

Mahalia is a ceramic artist with a background in architecture, who seamlessly integrates her profound structural understanding into her creations.Her hands-on design approach pushes her skill set to throw larger forms, Mahalia has gravitated to the traditional amphora vase with added sculptural forms or detailed drawings inspired by her childhood, fascinations, odd thoughts and the mundane.
